Bish has been a Liveryman of the Company since 1998 and was elected to the Court in 2008.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and has worked at board and senior finance level in the newspaper sector (15 years), airline industry (6 years), not-for-profit (8 years), and audit (8 years). Now semi-retired, he continues to works for charity and clients in the service industry.
He has served on a number of UK Polish organisations, including the British-Polish Chamber of Commerce, Polish Hearth Club, Polish Catholic Mission, Association of Polish Knights of Malta (UK) and the CFoP.
His voluntary interests and fundraising activities include; the elderly and ex-servicemen’s care homes, disabled and disadvantaged children, and a rural life centre museum.
Recently widowed, Bish has one grown up son and one grandson.
