Patricia Day is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and has a degree in history from the University of York. She has been a Liveryman since 2002 and a member of the Court Assistants since 2007.
Patricia spent most of her career at BT Group plc, which she joined in 1984 shortly before it was privatised. She was appointed Assistant Secretary in 2001 and held a number of key roles in the Company Secretary’s Department, including Secretary to the Board and Head of Corporate Governance.
After leaving BT in June 2011, Patricia carried out short term assignments with GlaxoSmithKline and the BT Pension Scheme.
From 2009 until June 2015, Patricia was company secretary, and recently also a Trustee, of Casting for Recovery UK & Ireland, a charity which arranges weekend fly fishing retreats for ladies suffering from breast cancer.
Patricia enjoys tennis, walking and the theatre.
