The Worshipful Company of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators plays an active part in the community and supports not just their members, but also wider charitable aims and activities.
The recently published Livery Impact Report 2025 highlights the power of collaboration and the good work the 113 Livery Companies and their 45,000+ members do, working together and pooling resources, time, skills and experience for the benefit of shared philanthropic endeavour.
The report shows a number of livery initiatives and stories. £81m was donated by the livery companies in 2024 and over 76,000 hours of pro bono/voluntary work.

Through charitable giving, which is governed by the Company’s Charitable Trust, the Worshipful Company of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators helps children and young people, the elderly, people with disabilities and other charities or voluntary bodies
The charity’s priorities include making annual donations to the Charity of the Lord Mayor of the City of London, and to the Charity of the Master of the Livery Company, and to maintaining certain affiliations of the Livery Company with schools and youth organisations. In addition to this, prizes are given for excellence in Chartered Governance Institute exams.
